How do the Blog On characters reflect their author Dandi?
"There’s a piece of me in each of the characters in the Blog On series," says author Dandi Daley Mackall. Read on to see how she's influenced each girls' unique personalities.
Gracie: "I’m probably most like Gracie, or at least I was in high school. I observed people, didn’t always rush to join things, wrote all the time, kept journals, and often felt like I didn’t fit in."
Jazz: "I’m afraid Jazz has a bit of my sense of humor. People don’t always 'get' me, either."
Storm: "I love trivia and have always read everything I could. I love browsing through trivia books and learning new things. And I suppose I do have my own unique taste in clothes."
Annie: "I’ve never considered myself an expert in anything, but it used to amaze me in high school that so many of my friends and acquaintances would come to me for advice."
Mick: "In many ways, I was the most like Mick when I was a kid. I was a tomboy. I loved baseball and played with the guys all the way through elementary school. But in other ways, I wasn’t at all like Mick. I didn’t really know Christ when I was Mick’s age, so I lacked her faith and understanding."
