Tip 1: Hang It and Be Happy

Take good care of your stuff! Putting your shirt on a hanger or folding your jeans may sound pointless at seven in the morning when you are rushing to catch the bus, but you’ll regret it later if you don’t! Things will continue building up until all you have is an empty closet and a huge pile of clothes on the floor.

    Tip 2: Play Store

Keep your clothes organized first by category (shirts, pants, long sleeves, short sleeve, etc.), then by colors. Have fun with it and organize your closet like stores do, putting clothes together by colors or by light to dark. It will help you find things quickly and your closet will look great too!

    Tip 3: Snowpants in Summer?

Keep same-season clothes grouped together in your closet, or better yet, take clothes that are out of season and keep them in a storage bin.

Tip 4: Think Ahead or Pay for It Later

Washing and cleaning your clothes and shoes is important to have a great wardrobe. Read the labels before you buy anything, just to make sure you have the time and patience (hand washing takes time; dry cleaning takes money) to maintain the items you choose.

Tip 5: Create Your Own Showcase

Hang a bulletin board in your closet or on your wall and stick all your earrings in it so that you can see with one glance all the choices you have. Better yet, show your creativity by first covering the bulletin board with fun fabric, ribbons, and other decorations before you start sticking stuff on it.

    Tip 6: Keep It Healthy

Using old cosmetics and dirty makeup or brushes can lead to breakouts or even infections. So, label your makeup and bathroom products with the date you opened them using a permanent marker. Keep your makeup and bathroom products in a plastic bag and store in a cool place. If anything starts to smell bad, gets a weird texture, or separates into layers, throw it away!

    Faithgirlz Tip #5

First make your bed and pick up/put away all your clothes, separating clean and dirty. Put away magazines and books, pack up your backpack, and clear your desk space. keep your journals in a basket in one corner of the room, your dvds in stackable containers, and your ipod charger; etc; in hatboxes on a shelf that you can get to. Make sure to ask yourself how often you use something when determining where to store it. for example, you wouldn't put your hairbrush on the top shelf of the closet. Use a stack of round hatboxes for a nightstand and store not-very-often used items in them (such as your chewed up singing barbie.) On the top hatbox, which should be right at eye level, keep a tiny chest with only one drawer for earrings (take them off before bed) and evening lip balm or acne gel Every morning do a clean sweep of your room, and repeat at night. soon it'll become a not-so time consuming habit!!! yay!
