Melody Carlson

Melody Carlson has always loved to write. But because writing came easily to her, she didn’t take it too seriously. Before becoming a fulltime writer, Melody taught preschool, worked in international adoption, interior design, and finally as senior editor for a children’s book line. Then her writing took over. Since then, she has written more than 200 books for women, teens, and children (some that have won awards or been optioned for TV/film). Melody lives in the beautiful Oregon Cascade Mountains with her husband and Labrador retriever Bailey. They enjoy camping, biking, hiking and skiing.
