Kitty

Until you get to know her, you might think of Kitty as a bit of a "ditz." In fact, that's what her very strict military dad calls her from time to time. Granted, her wide-eyed expression, which makes it seem as if she's just about to ask a question, helps create that appearance. And she does ask more questions than a Jeopardy contestant and tends to take everything literally. But as we get better acquainted with Kitty (short for Katherine, which Sophie thinks is so much more romantic), we find her to be curious – it takes nothing to talk her into participating in the wildest adventure. Kitty also shares her love unconditionally. As you read you'll discover that Kitty isn't really a "ditz" at all.

Kitty has blondish-brown ringlets for hair, big blue eyes, and a little bow of a mouth. Her curious nature is perfectly captured in her facial expressions.
