From Nancy on recent Beauty of Believing Tour stops...
Lynden, WA -- "Who would have thought such a small town could bring in 700 Faithgirlz and their moms? They poured in from as far away as Seattle and even Canada and made it a HUGE FaithGirlz celebration. We loved teaming up with GEMS (GIrls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) and having Colleen and Grace, our amazing worship team, with us. It was like everything came together and we went, 'God is definitely here.' (And can I just say I haven't seen that many windmills since I was in Holland?)"
Sioux Falls, SD -- "Another thousand (yeah, count them, a THOUSAND!) girls and moms joined us for an afternoon of singing and crafting and shopping and learning about GIrl Politics and Being Yourself (even though you don't quite know who you are). This time, I got to visit three Christian schools in Iowa before the event, and we (tween girls and I) started a sisterhood that I hope to spread across the country as we continue our Beauty of Believing Tour. It was so awesome to see girls joining hands and promising each other -- 'No more rumors. We're going to support each other.' Awesome. "
Lebanon, TN -- "How totally cool was it to do a FaithGirlz event right in my own town? It was like a party -- complete with a rockin' praise band and enough cookies for everybody to have ten! My three-month old grandbaby made her debut as the newest mini-woman, and once again we all joined hands and made a covenant to stop rumors and other tongue-injuries and become part of the FaithGirlz sisterhood. I kind of tear up when I think about it."
