It can drain you, this thing called motherhood…

Especially as you venture into the years between childhood and adulthood. There are questions, attitudes, changes, decisions, and so much intensity.

Where are you turning for help? The Internet? Magazines? Your friends? Your mom?

None of us can do this alone. And one of the gifts of motherhood is the realization that we need God.

Are you recognizing your need for Him today?

Here are 5 Scriptures to encourage you as raise your beautiful “faithgirl.”

1. A reminder that God gave you His Word as the world’s best parenting resource:

 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 

2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. Exhortation to share His truths with your daughter as you do life together:

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Deuteronomy 11:19

3. Encouragement to go to only One who has the answers you need:

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

4. Confidence that you have everything you need to do this job:

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Mom, your work is seen by God.

He will continue to show Himself strong on your behalf.

He is pleased with your service to Him and to your family.
