February is the loooove month. With Valentine’s Day on the calendar, as well as a month-long observance called American Heart Month, we here at Faithgirlz have healthy hearts on the mind. Here are ten Scriptures to focus on as a family this month. Read them together, memorize them together, discuss what they say about God and how to apply them to your lives. Then take some time to rejoice and celebrate God’s amazing love for you all!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”  (1 Peter 4:8)

“But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”  (Psalm 86:15)

“Let all that you do be done in love.”  (1 Corinthians 16:14)

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other.  Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”  (John 13:34-35)

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21)

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”  (Ephesians 4:2)

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”  (1 John 4:7-8)
